International order department

Job description:

Commercial all-rounder for our international order department (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for order processing from the first inquiry to any complaints

  • You accept orders for the European market and process them

  • You enter orders in the inventory management system and hand them over to the warehouse

  • You are responsible for calculating freight costs, creating invoices for customers and monitoring incoming payments

  • You coordinate the shipment to the customer and process the necessary documentation

  • You coordinate the export of goods to third countries, taking into account sanctions and customs regulations

  • You clarify open questions with the customer and, if necessary, also speak with our partner in the USA

  • You support the management in checking incoming invoices and preparatory accounting

What you bring:

  • You have a commercial apprenticeship or have already worked in a forwarding/foreign trade company

  • Ideally, you have experience in dealing with merchandise management systems

  • You are experienced and confident in using common MS Office applications

  • You communicate confidently in German and English

  • You work independently, precisely and keep an overview

  • You enjoy working in a team

  • You enjoy getting to grips with new tasks and occasionally take on project-based tasks
