As a rule, our website can be used without providing personal data. We collect and use personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website together with our content and services. Where personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our site, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data is not passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Contact form

Our website has a contact form that can be used to get in touch electronically. Alternatively you can contact us using the e-mail address provided. If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you enter there, are stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. This is also our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 f) GDPR. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

We store and use further personal data only if you consent to this or if it is permitted by law without specific consent.

Within the framework of the legally required archiving of e-mail traffic, your data is kept for a maximum of 10 years. Otherwise your details are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with; they are not passed on to third parties.

Cookies

The website partly uses what are known as cookies. They serve to make our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser. Cookies do no damage to your computer and contain no viruses.

Most of the cookies we use are what are known as session cookies. They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set, so that cookies are allowed only in individual cases, so that the acceptance of cookies is excluded for certain cases or in general, and so that cookies are deleted automatically when the browser is closed. SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content – such as the enquiries you send to us as the site operator – this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar switching from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.

When SSL encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

We make every effort to keep your data secure within the framework of the applicable data protection laws and the technical possibilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

To secure your data we maintain technical and organisational security measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, which we adapt again and again to the state of the art.

We also do not guarantee that our offering will be available at particular times; disruptions, interruptions or outages cannot be ruled out. The servers we use are backed up carefully and regularly.

Server log files

Every time this website is accessed, data and information is recorded by an automated system. This is stored in the server log files for a period of 6 weeks. The following data may be collected:

• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Internet service provider
• IP address
• Date and time of the server request
• Websites from which your system reaches our website
• Websites accessed by your system via our website

The data is processed in order to deliver the content of our website, to ensure that our information technology systems function correctly and to optimise our website. The log file data is always stored separately from users' other personal data.

We reserve the right to review this data subsequently if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

We do not use Google Analytics.

Google Maps

Our contact page embeds a map from the Google Maps service (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is not loaded automatically. As long as you do not click the “Load map” button, no connection to Google is established and no data is transferred.

Only once you click is the map loaded. At that point your IP address and technical details about your browser and device are transmitted to Google; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1) sentence 1 a) GDPR, which you give by clicking and which you can withdraw for the future at any time by reloading the page and not enabling the map again.

Transfer of data to third parties

As a matter of principle we use your personal data only within our company. If and to the extent that we involve third parties in the performance of contracts, they receive personal data only to the extent that the transfer is necessary for the relevant service. Where we outsource certain parts of the data processing (“processing on behalf of a controller”), we contractually oblige processors to use personal data only in accordance with the requirements of data protection law and to safeguard the rights of the data subject.

No data is transferred to bodies or persons outside the EU.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to rectification, blocking or erasure of this data.

You have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data.

Objection to advertising e-mails
